Walmart: Stop silencing Associates who speak out

Retract your previous store memo, tell Associates that OUR Walmart still exists and it’s our right to come together to improve our workplace.

Why is this important?

Walmart managers across the country are holding store-wide meetings to tell Associates that OUR Walmart no longer exists and anybody who talks about OUR Walmart or stands together to speak out will be fired or disciplined. The truth is OUR Walmart is growing stronger every day and it is our right as workers to speak out and come together to improve our workplace. Sign our petition calling on Walmart to tell Associates the truth.

I cannot sit on my hands while Walmart continues to break the law and silence Associates. An injustice to one Associate is an injustice to all of us. That’s why today I’m going on strike.

For Walmart’s illegal actions we will be filing an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) tomorrow. Email us at [email protected] if your store managers have had this meeting.

We have to put an end to Walmart’s lies. Join me in calling on Walmart to stop trying to keep us from coming together to stand for change.

OUR Walmart’s purpose is to help Walmart employees as individuals or groups in their dealings with Walmart over labor rights and standards and their efforts to have Walmart publically commit to adhering to labor rights and standards. OUR Walmart has no intent to have Walmart recognize or bargain with it as the representative of Walmart employees.
