Why is this important?
Thousands of Hospitality workers in Minnesota are out of work and many of those have been out of work since late March. UNITE HERE members are majority immigrants and majority female, we have cooked, cleaned and served our communities with pride for decades.
We are struggling to feed our families, keep a roof over our heads and losing our health insurance will be devastating. Billionaires who made money during this terrible crisis can afford the taxes we need to pay for our health insurance!
