Kia Motors, drop Sewon America!
Kia Motors needs to reevaluate their relationship with auto parts supplier Sewon America, a modern day American sweatshop.
Teresa Weaver Pickard died at age 42 on May 29, 2013 after complaining to managers at Sewon America in LaGrange, GA. Since her death, former Sewon employees have said that it was extremely hot in Mrs. Pickard's work area. Management is said to only turn on the air conditioning when there are visitors. It's also been said that it gets so hot in the break room that the candy in the vending machines melt. Workers are not allowed to have their own bottles of water on the floor, and water is not always available at water stations.
In addition, there have been reports that Sewon has tried to avoid calling 911 when workers have been injured in the past. A former worker once found herself on her front porch after having a seizure at work. Because of this past practice it is likely that Sewon did not call an ambulance for Mrs. Pickard resulting in her death.

Factories in America's south have always felt that they can get away with murder. Either Sewon shapes up or Kia should ship out!
