Home Restaurants: Pay Us Our Owed Wages
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, our restaurant, Home Restaurants LLC, shut down. When we were informed about the closure, my coworkers and I were told that we would be paid at the end of the next pay period. When that day came two weeks ago, we were never paid.
We have still not received our last paycheck even after dozens of calls and texts to the owner of the restaurant.
Why is this important?
Many of us live paycheck to paycheck and are dependent on tips. Without the pay that is owed us, we are struggling to make ends meet. Our families and our children are suffering because of this #WageTheft.
We, the employees of Home Restaurants LLC, demand to be paid what we are owed!
