Reinstate Covid-19 Pay for New Seasons Market Workers

Here are the most recent covid cases, and we still don't have hazard pay:

Arbor Lodge

• Staff member tested positive on September 5, last worked in the store on September 3.

Concordia

• Staff member tested positive on August 6, last worked in the store on August 2.

Happy Valley

• Staff member tested positive on September 10, last worked in the store on September 8.

Raleigh Hills

• Staff member tested positive on August 22, last worked in the store on August 2.

Sellwood

• Staff member tested positive on August 23, last worked in the store on August 15.

New Seasons has extended our 30% discount through December, but this is not enough! This is money that will go back into the company. We need our "thank you" pay back.

There have been two more stores with cases of Covid-19 since I started this petition, Mountain Park and Concordia. New Seasons has finally posted this on their website as follows:

Concordia
• Staff member tested positive on July 25, last worked in the store on July 19.

Mountain Park
• Staff member tested positive on July 22, last worked in the store on July 22.

Orenco Station
• Staff member tested positive on April 18, last worked in the store on April 14.

Seven Corners (confirmed cases are separate and unrelated)
• Staff member tested positive on June 8, last worked in the store on June 4.
• Staff member tested positive on June 26, last worked in the store on June 13.
• Staff member tested positive on June 28, last worked in the store on June 23.

Williams
• Staff member tested positive on July 9, last worked in the store on July 7.

Did you know that the company comped almost 2% over last years sales for the week of July 8th to 14th? That's even with Williams being closed for the day and being down 18% over last year.
