Remove Jeff Storm

We need Lowe’s Corporate to step in and do the right thing. Remove Jeff Storm as the store manager for Lowe’s of West Hills 1162. Jeff has continually over the last year targeted and harassed numerous employees to the point of emotional distress and sometimes quitting their job. He has prevented most employees who have attempted to transfer out of the West Hills location to other Lowe’s stores from doing so. Employees have been approved by other locations for jobs and after they have spoken to Jeff the moves were stopped. Jeff has encouraged his management team to threaten employees with write ups for sales during a pandemic. Sales for Lowe’s 1162 tripled in 2020 and employees were, in 2021 required by management to meet those sales or risk being written up or removed from their positions. Jeff failed to treat employees fairly and would accommodate some associates with set early schedules in some areas and not in others. Preference and favoritism showed time and time again. Many employees of this location have made claims and reports to corporate HR Associate relations and District HR Manager with no results; instead, any employees who have reported claims against Jeff and his management team have faced workplace retaliation by either being written up, denied for positions that have been posted or being punished with the schedule or if part time, had hours cut.

Why is this important?

This petition is important for several reasons; the first, it is unethical behavior that associates at Lowe’s of West Hills have suffered. There are many tenured, knowledgeable and hard working people working at this location. Employees should not be afraid or stressed going to work at Lowe’s because of this manager. Employees have the right to a workplace that is free from harassment and Constant mental distress from individuals who should lead by example and lead their team to succeed. Employees have the right to report claims against unfair and unethical treatment without retaliation and with the expectation of fair solutions.
