Walmart claims it put an additional $2.7 Billion into pay and benefits in 2017 but Walmart workers like Mariah tell a different story. Its new "customer first" scheduling system uses a robot to tell workers when they will be needed based on sales data. Help us tell Walmart that its workers deserve a scheduling policy that takes their needs into account!
Why is this important?
Walmart makes billions in profits every year off the labor of its staff while most of their workers can't schedule enough hours to bring home a decent paycheck. We work hard so Walmart can please its shareholders. It's about time they treat us like people instead of expenses.
How it will be delivered
We plan to tell Walmart that despite calling this unreliable scheduling policy "Customer First," customers like you and I demand fair treatment for workers first.
