Why is this important?
The New York Foundling’s workers provide essential care and support to adults with developmental disabilities.
For more than 7 months, The New York Foundling and the Union bargained for a new contract. In July, both sides agreed to all the terms, and the agreement was presented to the members.
On July 31, the members voted to accept and ratify the agreement.
The New York Foundling must be honest with its employees and honor the contract that was negotiated and accepted by the members.
TELL THE NEW YORK FOUNDLING TO STOP THE DELAY AND SIGN THE CONTRACT.
PAY THE ESTIMATED $280,000 IN BACK WAGES OWED TO THE MEMBERS, NOT INCLUDING OVERTIME, AND THE SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OWED TO THE UNION HEALTH PLAN.
HONOR THE AGREEMENT. SIGN THE CONTRACT. PAY WHAT IS OWED.
