Thank you so much for your support! We are struck by the enormous amount of love you, the players and community, have shown us over these last 21 days. The number of people who added their voices to ours helped to demonstrate that they believed, as we do, in a fair wage for quality work. Thanks to you, we have reached an agreeable resolution with Voltage and we are excited to share that every single writer has received a meaningful pay increase and improved transparency at work!

On December 17, 2014, Capital Bikeshare employees participated in a National Labor Relations Board election. We voted 41 to 14 to join the Transport Workers Union of America, Local 100 (TWU). Capital Bikeshare employees have now joined with our brothers and sisters in New York, Chicago, and Boston to form a union. Thank you so much to all of our coworkers and community members who supported our efforts!

While we were not able to convince FIFA to change the playing surface for the 2015 World Cup, we did succeed in getting FIFA to commit to natural grass for all future Women's World Cups, and we showed the world how professional athletes can ban together to demand that women have access to the same playing conditions as men. Thanks to this global effort, women in professional soccer around the world are demanding more -- and getting it. Let's keep fighting and winning!
