• Road & Rail Services (Vance AL)
Many of us come to work every day feeling unmotivated, unappreciated, and mentally and physically drained. The unprofessionalism, favoritism, and disorganization from senior leads, operations managers, terminal managers, and training managers have created a toxic atmosphere that is impacting our well-being and making our jobs harder than they need to be. This is not how things should be, and we have the power to demand better. We deserve to be treated with fairness and respect, but instead, we face constant dishonesty, targeting, and favoritism. Too many good employees have been unfairly fired or pushed out, and leadership’s refusal to advocate for higher pay or improve conditions has only worsened the situation. This lack of action has made it nearly impossible to retain workers, leaving the rest of us overburdened and unsupported.

  • Demand Fair Compensation for All Workers at Glu Hospitality
This petition is crucial because it highlights the urgent need for fair wages and accountability at Glu Hospitality. Recently, we witnessed the closure of 1225 Raw due to their inability to pay chefs, leaving many workers without the wages they earned and still owed. This situation exemplifies a broader issue within our industry, where workers are often left vulnerable to wage theft and unfair pay practices. By uniting our voices through this petition, we demand transparency in wage distribution and assurance that all tips are handled fairly. Our call for accountability is not just about protecting our rights as current employees; it’s about preventing future workers from facing similar hardships. We want to ensure that all employees at Glu Hospitality receive the compensation they deserve, fostering a respectful and sustainable work environment. Together, we can create change that not only benefits us now but also sets a precedent for fair labor practices in the restaurant industry.

  • keeping Focus Health Stockton supply rooms
I know there has been discussion about eliminating the Focus Health Stockton supply rooms (Stockton and Modesto offices). I am deeply concerned that eliminating the supply rooms will negatively impact patient care. As healthcare workers, we must advocate for our patients. There have been numerous occasions where supplies were not delivered to the patient or clinician on time. A trip to the office to grab an extra Foley catheter can prevent a delay in care for a patient. Focus Health Stockton employees are trusted with caring for patient lives, and we should therefore also be trusted to use the supply room diligently as a resource in times of need.

  • Staff of the Hogsett Administration Demand Reform of Workplace Culture
We, the staff of the Hogsett Administration, are coming forward with these demands because of the inaction from leadership in recent weeks. We are seeking accountability and transparency in regards to how leadership intends to reform the culture that has enabled abuse, sexual and otherwise. Many City-County job responsibilities are inherently stressful; it is our goal that all staff are safe from sexual harassment and all forms of inappropriate workplace behavior, so staff can focus their time and energy on helping Marion County residents. We are hopeful that the actions identified here can put an end to the harmful practices that so many of us have experienced firsthand.

  • Labor Standards for the Arlington Public Schools Career Center
The Arlington County Public Schools Career Center construction project is a $175 million dollar project yet the school board has no requirements that contractors pay decent wages, avoid wage theft, and provide decent jobs for our community.

  • Upfront fare rate cuts
Every driver on the road is suffering over this new highway robbery called upfront fare. These companies shouldn’t be able to make 40 percent or more of the fares when we pay all the expenses

  • We are struggling
It’s important to all of us getting more hours & a little bit more pay cause all that hard work we do & our customers treat us bad & we don’t even deserve that especially from minimum wage . Hours would help so we have time to go through our selves to see what’s expired & to clean up pharmacy & be there for our customer instead of always try to rush them cause we have a line

  • Increase the amount of EV chargers for visitors and employees at Baycare St. Joseph Hospital Tampa
This change will allow EV drivers from long distances to work without worrying about having enough charge to make it home. This will increase employee satisfaction for having charging spots specific to employees available to charge in, and will increase patient and visitor satisfaction as well as there will be far more than two spots to choose from. There will be no more fighting over charging spots when more are installed, first when access is granted to outlets, and especially when more level 2 chargers are installed. Furthermore, this will prevent employees that drive long distances (ie from Orlando) from being stranded or terminated for charging their car. In addition, this change will essentially future-proof St. Joseph hospital and bring it into the 21st century, and will solidify its position on "being green." All other major hospitals have far more chargers available: Tampa General has about 12 level 2 chargers, Advent Health Orlando and Orlando Health have about 20 each, and even smaller hospitals typically have at least 4. It's crazy to think that the flagship hospital of BayCare Health Systems only has 2 that must be shared between employees and visitors/patients.
